Title: Analyst II, Application Integration Under direct supervision, analyzes, designs, creates, implements, and supports systems and programs based on user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve application programs. Essential Functions: The following duties are representative of this position. Provides support in the development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of applications that support the district's strategic goals Implements application development and support work that follows best practices, internal standards, policies, and pragmatic development Provides guidance in developing and maintaining data integrity and validity for various applications Researches, designs and maintains backend applications interfaces to Student Information Systems (currently Infinite Campus) such as Learning Management Systems (Canvas, APEX), School Nutrition (PrimeroEdge), Student and Staff Device Inventory Management Systems (Frontline Asset Management/TIPWeb-IT), and/or other applications interfaces as introduced into the infrastructure Implements computer software by integrating an application into DCSD infrastructure and workflow Documents code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level Advises systems users on proper usage and resolves user problems; installs and tests enhancements to systems from providers, as needed Provides integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new applications into the existing application environment. Maintains application software updates including review, testing and installation. Works closely with end users to resolve problems with software issues. Participates in integration testing phase of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas. Performs other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, System Analysis, Computer Science or closely related field from a Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university required.
