Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to coordinate and perform the transformation of all pertinent Department of Revenue paper documentation received (i.e., returns, correspondences, checks, and vouchers) into digital media, digital media processing in IA/Dispatcher software, and the disposition or storage of the paper documentation thereafter. This position is also responsible for payment balancing and preparing bank deposits, filling and preparing reports, and retrieval of paper and electronic documents.

Minimum Qualifications

Sufficient math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and use simple formulasData Entry with the ability to compile, sort and verify data accuracy, sufficient to input data quickly and accuratelyKnowledge of communications skills sufficient to prepare written responses to routine inquires, apply accurate spelling and grammar, and to read, explain and interpret a variety of materials and follow detailed instructionsSkills in word processing and managing and using spreadsheets sufficient to track and create statistical reportsSufficient customer service skills to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information in person, on the phone, through e-mail and other written correspondence, and to communicate effectively with internal and external customersPreferred Qualifications

Knowledge of GenTax and other computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and Internet Explorer.Experience with Scanning and Imaging Systems.Ability to collect and deliver paperwork, records, supplies and other items from one location to another.Ability to problem solve in a fast pace environment.Ability to multi task and prioritize work.Ability to establish effective working relationships with peers, management, contracted agents, department contacts, and business representatives.Physical Requirements

Requires moving carts, moving paper from carts to shelving, occasionally moving such articles as file folders, and to maintain a stationary position for long periods of time.

Additional Requirements
