We are seeking a Human Resources Manager with exceptional people and communication skills, strong work ethic, and preferably, experience and knowledge in Customer Service and Hospitality.Click Here to Apply!Responsibilities:SUMMARYManage or perform all general HR related functions for the stationCoordinate and ensure Company policies, airport ordinances, and programs are implemented and followedDUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS (Including but not limited to):Oversee the daily operations of HR and Office Administrative tasksEnsure all federal, state, local laws and Corporate HR-related compliance matters are updated and managedAssist with Recruiting, Screening, Interviewing and Hiring Candidates for open positionsAssist with Creating and placing job advertisements and attend local job fairsTrain, Schedule, Coach and Supervise local phone screeners, Admin staff and RecruiterHelp grade and assess screening evaluationsMaintain applicant tracking and onboarding systemConduct New Hire Orientation in absence of RecruiterConduct background investigations and reference checksEnsure that Security ID Badges and Customs Seals are timely requested, issued and terminated; Monitor expiration datesOversee the Ordering and Control of the uniform processConduct Uniform audits to ensure adherence to grooming standardsMaintain employee personnel files and medical files and monitor the HR filing systemAnswer?employment inquiriesCoordinate with Head Office regarding employment activities including LOA, Workers Compensation, Benefits, and GrievancesConduct investigations for to address policy violations including harassment, and discriminationResponds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programsAct as liaison with local Business Managers and Head Office HR DepartmentMonitor and upgrade Cross-Utilization ListCoordinate with Safety Manager to ensure OSHA complianceEnsures Workers Compensation Reports are properly documented and reportedAttend local Business Manager meetings and Town Hall MeetingsConduct Exit InterviewsAny other assigned dutiesQualifications:Required SkillsESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSProfessional demeanor and reputationHigh moral standards and integrity; honestAble to work in a fast pace, corporate environmentExcellent Communication, Customer Service and Presentation Skills (written and oral)Ability to cope well with pressure and to manage multiple tasks with minimum directionStrong Computer Skills; MS Office, WORD, EXCEL and HRIS Systems (PowerPoint a Plus!)Must be comfortable with various cultures and sensitive to employees needsWell organized, creative, resourceful and capable of following up in a timely mannerFluent in English, in written and oral formCapable of working independently; self-starterMust pay close attention to detailsFlexible with schedule; may work some weekends and nightsSome travel between stations and Head Office may be requiredOccasional lifting up to 50 lbs.Previous HR experience requiredPHR or SHRM-CP certifications requiredJob LocationSan Francisco, California, United StatesPosition TypeFull-Time/RegularRequired TrainingOn the JobShift8am to 5pm (May be required to work outside of work schedule)Schedule [i.e. M/T/W/F/Sun or TBA]Weekdays (Monday-Friday)LanguageEnglishSalary/Benefits75K Annually, Parking, Medical & voluntary Dental/Vision/401KClick here to view a list of available resources for SFO EmployeesNeed help with your interview or resume?Attend one or all the Job Search Workshops offered by NOVA Works at the Business and Career Center.Sessions are scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Parking validation available.
