Become an integral part of our journey as we collaboratively Form Our Future Together, setting the stage for a new era in semiconductor excellence.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will be responsible for supporting manufacturing in our backend fab for process modules polymer coat, thin film deposition, plasma etching, inspection QA. The candidate will support production over the weekends with four 10hr shifts per week including Saturday and Sunday. Candidate will be responsible for resolving non-compliance reports on wafers, as well as troubleshooting process and tool issues. Candidate will develop tool recipes for metrology and other processes. Candidate will monitor process performance via analysis of SPC charts, and take actions based on findings. Candidate supports qualification of new tools and materials for development of advanced lithography, sputter, and etching processes. Candidate will collaborate with production, integration, plating, and planarization teams.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent discipline is preferred but not required. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in microstructure fabrication or semiconductor wafer manufacturing. Ability to work independently, but also a great team player. Savvy with Microsoft Excel. Experience using a data base language like SQL is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills.The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $90,500 and $118,775. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
