Description:Looking for a Quality Assurance Clerk (QA) / Inspector1st shift: 6am- 230 pm Duties: Incoming material inspection - Ensuring the incoming metal meets requirements, documentation, etc.Floor inspection - monitoring work in process dimensionally, visually inspecting for burrs, dings, dents, foreign matter, etc.Gauge calibration - maintaining records and calibrating employee and shop gauges (this is a huge plus but can be taught)QC documents - preparing docs such as certifications of compliance to accompany shipments; filing docs electronically; preparation, maintaining CA records, etc. The candidate will need to be able to use computers and understand technical documents. Candidate will be doing all aspects of quality. Checking the In-coming parts, In-process, (dealing with welders and fabrication employees to help improve current processes and ensuring a reduction in scrap material, time, and customer returns.Skills:Quality Assurance, Documentation, Quality, Mic*, Cal* Gauges, Blueprints, fabrication, welding, parts inspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Candidate must come for a metals fabrication company. They must be able to read shop blueprints and drawings to understand what the tolerance's, dimensions, and specs are for each part.
