In a nutshell, our company culture is about helping customers, investing in our employee's future, and ensuring that our performance makes an impact on our community!The Senior Vice President (SVP) Treasurer is a key leadership role with significant responsibilities in Capital Markets, Cash Management and Financial Risk Management. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will focus on driving financial results through developing and performing the Companys securitization and other funding sources, including credit facilities and asset financings.The Treasurer will be a key thought leader on future financial performance, capital structure and capital planning of the company. The Treasurer will work closely with all executive leaders of the company, and our bankers, investors, rating agencies and external partners to collaborate on funding initiatives and shape the direction and growth of the overall company funding strategy in a diverse team environment. In addition, the Treasurer will supervise the cash management function and build strategies to mitigate interest rate risk. Funding and transaction decisions will require intense preparation and execution as the company transforms into a larger and broader specialty finance enterprise with the potential of an IPO in the future.The Treasurer will be expected to partner with all business units in the company to drive collateral analysis, due diligence, presentations and monthly/periodic reporting. The team will be encouraged to manage a team required to leverage data from all parts of the company and make it actionable.Own the effort for the companys securitization transactions, funding facility closings and asset financings.Along with the CFO, act as the lead liaison with bankers, attorneys, rating agencies and other deal parties to appropriately structure, model and negotiate transactions that are helpful to the company.Form close, positive relationships with Finance, Risk, Branch Originations, Centralized Underwriting and Collections, Operations Support and IT leaders and teams to understand and present how the business works, develop reporting, and proactively communicate important funding and collateral trends.Develop funding, collateral and transaction cash flow models.Own the funding and transaction review meetings where results are shared and drive accountability among business partners.Build and lead external presentations to bankers, investors and rating agencies, and internal presentations to executive management and ownership along with ad hoc analyses and presentations for the same partners.Requirements:
At least 12 years of relevant securitization experience at a consumer lender and/or investment bank; with additional proven experience at a rating agency and/or securitization practice within an accounting firm to be considered.Transaction Leadership Skills: (i) ability to build and create relevant transaction analysis and reporting, (ii) ability to negotiate sophisticated legal documents and rating agency analysis with little direct supervision, and (iii) positively and constructively represent the company with external partners.Strategy and execution: Capacity to problem solve in a structured way and provide actionable insights to drive growth and expansion of funding.
