As our Senior Materials Representative, you'll be key to our operations, focusing on inventory accuracy and guiding dock drivers. You'll help ensure the seamless receipt, verification, and reconciliation of inventory while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives within our team. Your work will support the entire materials workflow, from dock audits to monitoring returnable containers, all while upholding operational standards and driving excellence. How You'll Create Possibilities
•Receive and validate inbound freight, comparing it with system data for accuracy.
•Load critical information into our material management system, flagging and escalating any discrepancies.
•Identify and resolve receiving variances, applying your problem-solving skills.
•Conduct yard checks to ensure the real-time accuracy of trailers on-site, using tools like Trackx.
•Audit pick locations to verify parts are ready for assembly line usage.
•Oversee timely and accurate shipping of returnable containers to suppliers.
•Generate warehouse labels and participate as a lead contributor in our annual physical inventory.
•Embrace lean manufacturing and participate in improvement initiatives to streamline materials workstreams.
•Communicate inventory metrics and maintain precise records, reporting issues as they arise.
•Actively coordinate with drivers to monitor part locations and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Requirements:
•Associate's degree or active pursuit of a degree in business or related field.
•Proven communication skills, initiative, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
•Flexibility with hours based on business needs.
•Familiarity with Oracle, Trackx, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), and scanning equipment.
•Keen attention to detail, basic math and recording skills, and an understanding of safety and dock regulations.
