Underground utility pipe foreman

Randstad is looking for an Underground Utility Pipe Foreperson for Jacksonville and the surrounding areas! This is a direct hire position. You must be dependable and cooperative, be adaptable/flexible, pay attention to detail, show initiative, and have integrity and self-control. Compensation will be based on experience and expertise at the time of the interview ranging between $35.00 - $48.00 per hour.salary: $79,000 - $100,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Ability to measure, perform construction math, and calculate rises and runs for piping systems.Can set up and properly use pipe fitting tools including a pipe laser, plumb bob, and level.Knowledge of safe rigging and hoisting equipment and procedures.Knowledge of PSCC and OSHA rules.Read and interpret plans, including pipe restraint charts.Proper techniques for joining flanged ductile iron, welded stainless steel, threaded galvanized and welded PVC piping systems.Heavy Equipment Operation is a plus.Lift over 50 pounds, and handle extreme weather conditions while working alongside craft laborers.Stand for long periods of time.Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and specifications to accurately lay out the piping system.Cut, thread, and groove ductile iron pipes and galvanized piping systems.
