In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a broad breadth of critical processes and functions within Lantheus. From planning and coordinating facility maintenance and improvements to managing vendor relationships, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of our facilities.As Director, Facilities, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Compliance, to develop and implement facility management strategies that align with our business objectives. You will also be responsible for developing and managing budgets, tracking and reporting on facility metrics, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.To excel in this role, you must have strong leadership and communication skills, as you will be managing a team of facilities professionals, both internal and external and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems efficiently, and adapt to changing situations is also crucial.Responsibilities:* Develop and implement facility management strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation of our facilities.* Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.* Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure timely delivery of services and negotiate favorable terms.* Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance, repair, and improvement projects.* Track and report on key facility metrics, such as energy consumption, maintenance costs, labor utilization, and service levels.* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as FDA and EPA guidelines.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement facility improvement projects, such as sustainability initiatives and infrastructure upgrades.* Provide leadership and guidance to facility staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.* Manage key service providers such as Landscaping/Snow Removal, Security, Custodial, HVAC, Pest Control, Waste Management.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.* Minimum of [10] years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.* Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, operations, codes, and best practices.* Proven commitment to safety and ensuring safe work practices and controls are built into all facilities functions.* Extensive understanding of HVAC systems especially as related to cleanroom and contamination control concepts.* Highly knowledgeable with both Building Automation and Continuous Monitoring systems for GxP applications.* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.* Experience working with town and local jurisdictions such as Building Departments, Conservation Commission, Board of Health, Fire Department as well as insurance providers and related entities.* Experience managing food service providers in keeping with all applicable codes and best practices.* Extensive experience managing security providers and administering a security program inclusive of access control systems and monitoring.* Proven track record of managing budgets within an ERP (SAP a plus) and delivering projects on time and within scope.* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.* Ability to plan and execute small capital projects inside of Facilities organization.* Highly proficient in MS Office and facility management software (Maximo a plus).* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as FDA and EPA guidelines.* Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Lantheus is committed to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to a person's race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, marital status, or any characteristic protected under applicable law.
