Summary
The Driver Class C – Transportation is directly responsible for the transportation of loads and unloads of freight in and out of warehouse facilities. This role is responsible for the timely movement of equipment to and from warehouse to events for the purpose of flawless execution. This position requires strong driving and coordination skills.
This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain a clean driving record
Comply with all DOT requirements and procedures
Ensure timely pick up and delivery of all assigned work
Communicate with warehouse and event staff all transportation movements in accordance established policies and procedures
Complete all required paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures
Assist in training/development, and staffing of staff
Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through assigned areas
Check drivers in and out of warehouse in accordance to operational policies and procedures
Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning
Drive teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations
Assists other department heads as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Class C license in good standing
Travel Requirements
Travel up to 25%
