Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will:Execute day-to-day components of M&A transactions, e.g., due diligence, valuation model development, synergies identification, marketing materials developmentSupport leaders in strategic planning/gameboard developmentLead and collaborate with cross-functional deal teams and external advisorsCoach and provide direction to the Corporate Development AssociatesLiaise and negotiate with potential buyers/sellers on certain aspects of the transactionsQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategic Planning, Management Consulting, or Financial AnalysisValuation and deal modelling experienceProficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (domestically and potentially internationally)Fluency in EnglishDesired Characteristics
MBA or other Master's degree from an accredited university or collegeDemonstrated ability to lead and execute complex transactionsKnowledge of the aerospace and defense industriesStrong project management skills, with ability to balance workload and prioritize effectivelyClearly articulates viewpoint verbally and in writing; strong executive presence and confidence when presenting informationStrong ability to analyze data/information, formulate accurate conclusions and develop action plansWorks effectively in cross functional and matrixed team environmentPrior experience evaluating legal documentation
