Plant Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Plant Manager in Seattle, WA area! They will be responsible for all activities of the plant to accomplish financial objectives. The qualified candidate will be responsible for establishing and managing operational policies and procedures, creating and maintaining a safe work environment and developing a well trained and motivated work force at all levels.Relocation is available for this roleResponsibilities:Coordinate and direct all operations to achieve all production, quality safety, and cost objectivesEnsure all products are consistent with intended design and imageSupervise processes of dairy products to ensure production shortages are avoided and quality standards are metEnsure accuracy of the warehouse, transportation and sales to meet customer's ordersResponsible for the development of budget and cost controlProvide for personal and professional growth through coaching, feedback and opportunityEncourage participation of the work force to enhance awareness and cooperationDevelop strategies and corrective actions to resolve quality issuesImplement and maintain all company manufacturing policies, procedures and production control programsInsure compliance with all government regulations and quality assurance standardsCommunicate with HR department on needs of the facilityProvide for the development, prioritization, and execution of capital improvement projects within the facilityRequirements:Bachelor's degree preferred10+ years management experience5+ years Plant Manager experienceFood/beverage manufacturing plant operations experienceUHT processing experienceESL experience in dairySix Sigma, Lean and/or Continuous Improvement experience requiredAbility to demonstrated a thorough understand of regulatory laws and responsibilities related to processing and fillingMust be able to train, supervise and develop staffUnderstanding of managing budgets and controlling costsAbility to work across multiple functions and disciplinesExcellent verbal/written communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing organizational and operational needsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite
