As a Production Control (PC) Supervisor, you will be playing a critical role in the success of production at the Gigafactory. You will work primarily on the manufacturing floor and will be asked to work cross-functionally, interfacing with engineering, planning, and production to ensure production goals are being met.Must be flexible to work the following shifts:A: 7:00AM -7:00PM; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other WednesdayB: 7:00AM -7:00PM; Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other WednesdayC: 7:00PM - 7:00AM; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other WednesdayD: 7:00PM - 7:00AM; Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other WednesdayResponsibilities Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned shift/employees to achieve the required quality and production goalsMaintain department records and inventories and manage the movement of product through the production areaEnsure that product is always in the process, plan and organize work for smooth operationsEnsure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum qualityMonitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety programWork with employees to resolve technical and personnel problemsSchedule employees to effectively meet production needs and to ensure vacation and other time off consistent with plant policies. Provide the shift to shift communication link in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals Requirements Minimum 4 year degree in related field, experience with evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalentMust have experience in Production Control and strong knowledge of material flow methodologies including sequencing, kitting, repack, etc5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain and/or distribution and logistics experience desirable. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
