Job Description

As a Category and Channel Research and Insights Manager, you'll lead the planning, development and execution of research that helps us understand how customers use and experience Best Buy's retail channels. You'll be responsible for uncovering actionable insights through qualitative and quantitative research techniques. You'll then inform store experience teams, ensuring customer experiences meet the initiative's goals and deliver on Best Buy's strategies. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional partners to translate research insights, consumer behavior and general consumer trends into compelling customer strategies

This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

What you'll doPlan, develop and execute comprehensive research strategies that support store experience initiatives that are aligned to customer and business objectivesWork closely with store experience teams to stay current on initiatives while infusing customer insights into their overall processLead cross-functional efforts, including partnering with employee research to translate research findings into insights and finally into compelling strategies in collaboration with partnersSynthesize complex data sets and integrate industry trends and best practices to identify clear and actionable insightsEffectively communicate research results and recommendations to stakeholdersOutline annual research priorities in partnership with store experience leadership, align priorities to annual budget size and execute within budget.Basic qualifications

5 years of experience in marketing research, psychology research or consumer insights.5 years of Strong analytical skills with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research5 years experience of presenting research findings in a clear and compelling wayExperience working with store and channel experience teams to guide strategic decisionsPreferred qualifications

Experience conducting and managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects that have directly influenced store experience strategiesBachelor's degree in marketing, psychology or related fieldStrong project management skillsExcellent communication and storytelling skills for delivering insights to different teams
