Lowndes has an exciting opportunity for someone looking to break into the legal industry! Lowndes is seeking an Administrative Clerk, who will support our Litigation practice group. This position will help the practice area with a variety of administrative tasks such as document updating and compilation, spreadsheet tracking and updating, and invoicing. Essential Functions:
Organize, setup, and main legal files and records, including filing legal documents in electronic files.Open new files and close existing files following detailed procedure as required.Assist legal teams with standard limited clerical support such as document creation, document and spreadsheet updates, and spreadsheet creation as required working under the direction of a legal assistant or paralegal.Assist the litigation department with invoicing, expenses, and check requests.Perform or assist with any operations assigned to maintain workflow and to meet deadlines.
Candidates should enjoy a teamwork environment, have a professional demeanor, possess excellent communication skills, and be proactive and detail oriented. Excellent computer skills are necessary with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Great benefits and free onsite parking.
