Job Description
As a
Senior Financial Advisor , you'll collaborate closely with Partner Teams and fellow Advisors, tackling unique client situations head-on. From investment strategies to retirement planning, education savings to tax and estate planning, your expertise will make a difference. You'll be at the forefront of client meetings, guiding them through financial action plans and annual reviews. Every interaction will be an opportunity to showcase the 'Why' behind Moneta. Essential ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Partner teams and serve as subject matter expert to the firm on all aspects of Family CFO businessKeep Partner informed on team and client issuesLead client meetings including first interviews, confidential fact-finding, financial action plans, implementation meetings, and reviewsPrepare and/or review financial action plans and projections put together by team membersFacilitate services for client including investment management, retirement planning, education planning, tax and accounting services, insurance planning, banking and cash management, business planning, estate planning, and philanthropic strategiesDevelop and source new business with prospect and referral pipelineParticipate in testing new technologies for the firm and apply complex testing skills utilizing financial planning expertiseHelp to lead firm and team in strategic planning discussions and execute visionAssist team to enhance training and deliver absorbable reporting to the clientTeach systems knowledge and efficiency within Moneta University learning management platformCollaborate with the Partner to carry out marketing and business development opportunitiesParticipate in Moneta Executive Mentorship program as well as provides coaching, mentoring, and training to team membersConduct annual performance appraisals for direct reportsAssist in interviewing and hiring of team membersChampion team vision and lead by exampleTravel as necessary to meet with clientsCommitment to ongoing education to remain an authority in family CFO mattersQualifications
Series 65 required, or achievement of license required within 60 days of employmentB.S. Business or Finance required; MBA or J.D. preferredCFP, CPA, or CFA requiredTen or more years of relevant experience offering holistic financial planning adviseExperience within the wealth management, registered investment advisory space preferredAdditional Information
