Duties:
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reporting, including:
Preparing and recording corporate journal entries (e.g., accruals, payroll).Analyzing and researching general ledger account activity.Preparing complex balance sheet reconciliations.Reconciling intercompany transactions, including P&L, assets, liabilities, and equity.Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements for efficiency.Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support special projects as needed.Collaborate with the accounting team, RCM and other departments to coordinate closing activities.Support the annual audit process and annual tax filing process by preparing white papers and providing responses to external resources.Utilize analytical skills to provide actionable recommendations.Enhance systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions where necessary.Ensure compliance with financial accounting objectives.Establish and maintain comprehensive fiscal files and records for all transactions.Produce timely and accurate financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CPA track preferred).5+ years of corporate accounting experience.Advanced MS Excel and Office Suite knowledge.Work well in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines.Familiarity with Accounting / ERP software (MS Dynamics Business Central is preferred).Working knowledge of MS Excel (pivots, vlookups, etc.)Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to multi-task.Strong computer and communication skills.Self-motivated and ability to work independently.Positive attitude with an ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
