Our Client is seeking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team at our corporate headquarters. This role will provide support to the Manager, Corporate Accounting and will have responsibility for key aspects of the monthly accounting cycle.
Responsibilities
Executing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes within a seven-business day closing schedule;Managing the monthly global intercompany reconciliation process to include ensuring the proper elimination of intercompany transactions;Preparing assigned balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analyses;Preparing timely and accurate consolidated Our Client Inc financial statements in accordance with US GAAP;Compiling and providing accounting documents, schedules, and other relevant information to support the Our Client Holdings, LP annual audit;Reviewing international subsidiary financial submissions to include the analysis of monthly impacts of cumulative translation adjustments;Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes;Preparing Corporate departmental reporting to include variance analyses between actual results and budgeted/forecasted expectations;Preparing monthly actual vs. prior period presentations for monthly executive finance review meetings;Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide for a collaborative team environment; andContributing to Corporate projects and initiatives as assignedRequired Qualifications
A./B.S. in Accounting required2-5 years of relevant experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring that deadlines are metHigh competency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staffStrong verbal and written communication skillsMotivated self-starter; identifies potential improvements to existing processesComfortable working in unstructured environmentAbility to work with minimum supervisionStrong Attention to DetailExperience with Microsoft D365 is a plusPreferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart
CPA or working toward CPA certification, preferred
