JOB LOCATION: FLINT, MI - FLINT PLANTAs a member of the Flint Production Assembly Team, you will be responsible forperforming all jobs in the work cell to build quality seats in an efficient manner.The Role:Your work will include, but not be limited to:Assuring safety standards are followed at all times, reporting all accidents and near missesIdentifying safety issues and helping to resolve concernsDriving 5S in the area and hold others accountable to 5S World Class Housekeeping standardsIdentifying scrap, defects, or quality issues as they appear and review quality alerts and metricsEnsuring work is done, the right way the first time to deliver the right quality to our customerReading Liaison reports to make improvements and correct issuesCompleting all repairs they can in stationEnsuring poka-yokes in placeAssuring safety, quality, production, and work standards are always followedDriving and contributing to continuous improvement suggestions and projectsAdhering to and measuring line KPI'sInspecting equipment, tools, structures, or materials to identify repair needs or other problems or defectsLearning and rotating through all the tasks in the team cellMeeting/exceeding line efficiency targets to ensure customer delivery is achieved

Your Qualifications (Minimum Qualifications):High School Diploma or EquivalentAbility to work overtime & weekendsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving your whole bodyPhysical ability to lift, carry, and/or move heavy objectsPhysical ability to stand for extended periods of time and operate pneumatic toolsPhysical ability to make fast, simple, repetitive movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
