Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay-Ametherm is currently seeking applicants for an Assembler. Responsible for assembly work requiring assembly skills and technical knowledge of operations involving wire cutting, epoxy potting, loading and cleaning of thermistors. Operations are those which include coating, soldering, screen printing and auto loading. Should be able to perform multiple operations daily and will also test units to verify product is built to specifications.
Job Location:
The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the state of Nevada, USA in Carson City. Carson City is the state capital and is just a quick 30 minutes from the beautiful Lake Tahoe and 30 minutes away from The Biggest LittleCity, Reno.
What you will be doing:• Perform assembly and test of temperature sensors to drawings and specifications.• May move from process to process as necessary.• May assist Lead in issuance of material, breakdown of kits, training or other miscellaneous duties.• May be assigned to other duties in other departments or areas as needed.• May be asked to perform other tasks as assigned by Lead and Manager.
What you will bring along:• Be able to stand and/or sit for long periods at a time• Be able to perform the basic process operations in the manufacturing of thermistors in the assignedwork centers while meeting labor standards• Ability to read and write• Utilize basic tools• May be required to deal with repetitive motions throughout the work shift• May be required to handle heavy set up and tare downs of up to 25lbs throughout the work shift
Pay Rate: $14-$17/hr. depending on experience
