Requisition Summary Kenworth is looking for a proactive and energetic Administrative Assistant who will assist the Chief Engineer and senior engineering staff in organizing and coordinating the administration of various business activities. This position will routinely interface with other PACCAR executives, customers and visitors, and will require a professional collaborative communication style and limited direction. Job Functions / Responsibilities * Administrative support including: travel planning, meeting planning for Chief Engineer and direct staff; answering calls, preparing correspondence, daily/weekly reports, and maintaining project files. * Creation and editing of PowerPoint presentations. * Generate and distribute a number of daily and weekly reports as required. * Coordinate travel and process expense reports for the Chief Engineer and direct staff. * Coordinate meetings and smaller events for Chief Engineer and direct staff. * Assists in organizing and supporting division events with associate media, equipment services, and food services. * Coordinates visitor stays and handles correspondence, upon site management approval. * Additional administrative duties as assigned to support Kenworth Division. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * A minimum of 1-3 years' experience working in supporting executives in an administrative role required. * High School graduate or equivalent required; BS/BA degree preferred * Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong computer skills required; advanced level of experience in Microsoft office preferred * Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential * Ability to interact with all levels of management and representatives of the company as well as dealers and customers. * Excellent organizational skills, exhibits a professional demeanor, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
