Responsibilities & QualificationsThe Co-Op will focus on supporting the Global EMRA automation team to inventory and organize computer and data assets used in industrial controls.
At the end of the assignment, the Co-op will have had the opportunity to:
Gain experience and exposure to a manufacturing (OT) environment and methodologies, Industrial Control Systems, Technologies, Advanced Applications & Techniques, and OT Integration criteria.
Learn to utilize different software such as Historians, HMIs, PLCs, Level 2, Network Traffic Analyzer.
Responsibilities
Review Global Variables Catalog for CASH Lines.
Complete gap analysis of computer assets inventory and make recommendations for improvements.
Monitor and track global project progress.
Assist and lead in generation of reports.
Lead automation projects.
Co-ordinate global project update meetings.
Qualifications
Junior or Senior in Electrical or Software Engineering.
Understand basics around gathering system requirements, data flow diagrams, computer communication techniques, high-level programming languages.
Basic understanding of principles and concepts of Industrial Controls.
High analytical skills.
Good communication and organization skills.
Capability to thrive in a team environment, and to engage with cross-functional teams within the Novelis Reliability organization.
Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
Must be available from May 2025 to December 2025.

In addition to its downtown shopping and dining district, Oswego and the surrounding areas are renowned for fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and outdoor recreation across all four seasons.
