Greensboro, NC (relocation required before starting work)Description:This position is both a technical and leadership role, shaping the future of Danger Devices Inc.'s business in a fast-growing dynamic wireless market segment in different RF spaces; this includes but is not limited to RF components designed for LTE, Wi-Fi, and other RF standards. You will be responsible for all technical and system-level support for local and non-local chipset partners and all customer tiers, local and non-local. You will also be responsible for growing and building all required system-level analysis and technical customer support.Responsibilities:Grow the GSO application team and manage their workload by aligning with marketing and our go-to-market strategy.Produce customer-friendly reports for DD products utilizing internal automated test setups, plotting tools, and automated reports.Provide Marketing with all evaluation board and system-level technical feedback and aid in promoting the DD products.Produce all application engineering documentation.Produce competitive analysis vs. DD products and clearly highlight pros and cons. Translate this information to product specifications and ensure design engineering understands the issues to be solved.Build strategic technical partnerships with key technical decision-makers at the chipset providers, OEMs, and ODMs.Help build an efficient system-level support model in our support centers utilizing different chipsets and IQFACT+ software. This includes acquiring the hardware, step-by-step test setup, and producing comprehensive system-level reports.Provide all technical and system-level support for all chipsets reference designs including tuning and system-level reports.Grow the Danger Devices system-level support capabilities to provide local chipset and customer support in the US.Utilize software to produce simulations that correlate with system-level requirements.Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to provide clear technical and system-level feedback.Demonstrate technical skills including experience and thorough understanding of Wi-Fi system architecture (HW/SW), RF/Transceiver component integration, system validation, and manufacturing.Exhibit superior communication skills: interpersonal, written, and presentation.Proven ability to understand and break down complex, multifaceted programs and projects into manageable pieces, organize cross-functionally, and drive execution.Participate in trade shows and industry-shaping conferences.Qualifications:BSEE/M.S.E.E. with 5 to 10 years of RF technical/system-level experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.RF technical background with previous experience in different RF Front End, systems integrations, and applications engineering support.RF experience with transceivers, power amplifiers, switches, and other RF components.Deep knowledge of RF test equipment and system-level setups to manage work related to internal and external customer projects application support.Understanding of Wi-Fi, 5G, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE systems and standards.Self-driven and directed, with a strong sense of ownership.Business acumen and experience in a customer-facing role.Strong sense of customer orientation, relationships, and effectiveness.Ability to travel globally up to 10% of the time.Benefits:401(k) through Guideline and up to 4% matchingMedical insurance through UnitedHealthcareVision insuranceLife insurance through Guardian EM Life 1F planUnlimited vacationSend Your CVUpload FileMax file size 10MB..doc, .pdf, .txt accepted.
