The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will work as part of the testing team, providing software testing and quality assurance to support product excellence. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst must develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the company’s business. This position will also work with development and technical teams to ensure that they understand the specifications, conduct business process modeling, and generate applicable scenarios for the project team.A self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team is essential.Responsibilities

Create Automation and/ or Manual Test Plans for application testingCreate Manual Test Cases for Functional testing, and Automation Test Scripts for functional testing including the identification, collection and/or creation of test dataDetermine and meet time estimates, and schedules for testing effortWrites and executes queries to analyze dataPreps and executes testing activities pre, during and post releasesParticipate in all sprint ceremonies and PI Planning eventsWorks closely with the Functional and Development team on testing required code changesTranslate technical ideas/designs to multiple audiencesAvailable to work off-hours as necessarySome travel may be required.Professional Experience

Minimum 5 years’ software quality assurance experienceMust have extensive experience in manual testing of legacy applications (green screen applications)Strong understanding of the full lifecycle (SDLC) with Agile/Scrum experienceStrong understanding of different types of Manual and Automated TestingMust have experience on supporting all phases of testingA good understanding of Web-based applicationsExcellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsExperience and knowledge of Retail, Accounting, Supply Chain or BankingFamiliarity with APIs and Postman is a plusExperience with testing tools (Selenium, Apache JMeter, IBM Rational Functional Tester, or similar)Must be detail-oriented and capable of working in an environment with changing prioritiesTakes initiative, owns their tasks, consistent with delivering and can make progress with little or no guidanceEducational Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Business/Finance/Economics/AccountingFormal training in disciplines of Business Analysis and/or Project ManagementConditions of Employment
