Deployment Manager 2
will be responsible for leading the development of engineering products facilitating Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) Command and Control site deployments. Primary responsibilities are the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of the EMD Launch Control & Integrated Command Center deployment engineering.Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Providing leadership and excellence oversight for a growing Deployment team focused on developing and maturing deployment plans and work instructions of the Sentinel Launch Control & Integrated Command CenterEnsuring seamless installation & integration of Sentinel Launch Control & Integrated Command Center deploymentsIdentification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirementsDeveloping new business opportunitiesWork closely with the Sentinel project leads and other core organization leads in defining, executing, and growing the organization's people and businessCultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer communityEstablishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizationsDelivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholdersLeading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectivesDevelopment and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and toolsEstablishment and management of the program and subordinate baselinesMeasuring and reporting program performanceParticipating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditionsIdentifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planningManaging suppliers to meet program objectivesEnsuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activitiesConducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realizationDemonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing businessTransition innovative solutions, technologies, and advanced concepts for US strategic deterrence interests for product development and fieldingPosition BenefitsAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80.
