This role will support the architecture for strategic programmes within AXA XL, helping to architect for the largest and most complex programmes that deliver business transformation.Essential Responsibilities:A technical expert, providing thought leadership and accountability for the architecture of strategic programmes across the Apps, Data, Infra, and Security domains.Inspire and provide leadership on architectural challenges affecting the strategic programmes architecture.Cultivate lasting relationships with business stakeholders, and create and execute compelling and effective communication strategies for informing on architectural processes and outcomes.Stay abreast of the latest technologies and leverage them as they apply to strategic programmes.Help drive transformative change within the organization enabling business transformation through the application of tech and data.Maintain a broad understanding across apps, data, infrastructure, and security domains with depth in at least one area.Fully understand and be considerate of requirements from DPO, Regulatory/Compliance, and Social Consultations.Support the development and deployment of the Strategic Architecture for specified programmes.Co-ordinate with colleagues from other BAU architecture teams involved in delivery of the strategic programmes.Required Skills and Abilities:Demonstrates managerial courage and the ability to coach, train, set expectations, and evaluate performance.Outstanding problem-solving skills; the ability to analyze problems and develop actionable plans quickly.Excellent communication skills to all stakeholders.Ability to make appropriate recommendations and ‘own’ decisions.Natural enthusiasm for and broad knowledge of a range of technologies; keen interest in emerging technology is highly desirable.Solid track record of addressing customer and architectural needs through innovative use of technology.Deep understanding of modern architectural and engineering practices.Sound business and technology knowledge with commercial awareness and understanding of Financial Services markets.AXA XL is committed to equal employment opportunity and will consider applicants regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity and origins, marital status, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.At AXA XL, we know that an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce enable business growth and are critical to our success.Location:
