The Digital Projects Coordinator leads the University Libraries efforts to coordinate, track, steward, document, and assess the various digital projects undertaken by the Digital Strategies department and the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities. The Digital Projects Coordinator develops processes for tracking projects across the department and monitors the status of all projects in the portfolio, adapting project management best practices to the unique circumstances of the unit. This position will also co-create and manage documentation about projects; communicate with project teams about details, timelines, and responsibilities; and gather and provide information about projects to department leaders and other stakeholders. The goal of the Digital Projects Coordinator is effective stewardship of collaborative work, advocating for successful strategies for our organization. Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of library, digital humanities, or related experience; equivalent education/experience considered.Demonstrated experience with common workplace software suite (such as Microsoft 365).Excellent oral and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
Project management experience. Demonstrated skills in related technologies, such as data/metadata standards, data visualization and analysis, and project management-related software.Experience communicating about technology to a non-technical audience, either formally or informally.Subject familiarity with and demonstrated interest in libraries and/or the humanities.How to Apply
