5+ years related work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
Expert PLC programmer, Robots (Fanuc, Motoman, Yamaha, and Mitsubishi), Weber screwdriver, Nordson Spray System, Keyence Vision, LabVIEW, and Visual Basic programming
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, install, and modify manufacturing equipment control systems (45%)
Troubleshoot and repair equipment using standardized root cause analysis techniques (25%)
Support manufacturing plant VA / VE (Value Add / Value Engineering) (15%)
Provide guidance and direction to other associates (5%)
Train associates, develop schematics, deliver presentations, manage projects, etc. (5%)
Other duties as assigned (5%)

Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, work independently, and make effective decisions
Willingness and ability to support and train others
Must be flexible to adapt to changing requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct reports
Guide and support other Engineers, Interns, EIT’s, TS’s, MA’s, and TA’s
Software
Typical software: AB PLC, Mitsubishi PLC, Fanuc, IAI, and Motoman Robots, Atlas Copco screwdriver, Keyence Vision, Excel, LabVIEW, and Visual Basic programming
Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel
Intermediate experience with AutoCAD and CATIA preferred
Essential Job Functions – Physical and/or Mental Restrictions
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization
Ability to work for extended periods of time while sitting
Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the workday
Ability to lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds
Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
