OVERVIEWThe Software Architect will design and develop new capabilities or major enhancements for existing software on the Enterprise Platform. This role involves providing architectural, interoperability, and product fit assessment recommendations for task order projects, both specific and global. The Software Architect will address systems integration challenges across multiple platforms, collaborating with platform architects, task order-level architects, application developers, and government customers to provide best-practice recommendations. The position also requires conducting feasibility analysis and offering implementation strategy recommendations for future projects.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and develop software enhancements and new capabilities for the Enterprise Platform.Provide architectural recommendations and solutions for platform interoperability and integration.Collaborate with platform and task order architects, government customers, and application developers to implement best practices.Conduct feasibility analyses for potential projects and provide strategic recommendations.Ensure project completion and adherence to deadlines while addressing problems of systems integration and compatibility across various platforms.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMust have 2+ years of relevant experience working with DoD projects.5+ years of experience with ServiceNow architecture and software design.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.2-3 years of experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AJAX.Strong expertise in systems integration, software architecture, and project management with a deep understanding of ServiceNow’s capabilities.2-3 years of experience working in Agile development environments, including participation in sprints and scrum meetings.Understanding of database concepts, including SQL and relational database management systems, with 2-3 years of experience.Must have at least 2 years of DOD experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and users.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and project managers.EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or Minimum of 5 years of experience with ServiceNow development.ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect or ServiceNow Certified Master Architect.ITIL Certification.ICAgile Certified or Certified Scrum Master.CLEARANCEMust be able to gain and attain Minimum Background Investigation.Pursuant to a government contract, U.S. citizenship is required.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and veterans.
