YOUR ROLE
Conductive Coatings Expertise: Lead projects focused on conductive carbon coatings to enhance battery cell performance. Drive innovation in dry electrode technology and optimize manufacturing processes.
Center of Excellence Operations: Own responsibility for equipment and the production of foil-coated samples from our Center of Excellence in Madison Heights. Ensure smooth integration of conductive coatings into manufacturing lines.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, particularly those in the battery industry. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
Product Launch and Scale-Up: Take newly developed conductive coating solutions through scale-up phases, ensuring successful implementation on production lines. Provide on-site support and troubleshooting as necessary.
Materials Testing: Conduct experiments and testing to validate coating performance. Collaborate with testing teams to ensure product reliability and meet performance standards.
Technical Presentations: Present technical findings and insights internally and externally, showcasing the benefits and applications of our conductive coatings to customers and stakeholders.
Traveling of up to 40-50% is required.
YOUR SKILLS
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in conductive coatings or related fields, with a focus on battery applications. Experience with coil coating methods a plus.
Strong hands-on experience in lab and production settings with proven ability to conduct experiments, manage equipment, and scale processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Self-sufficiency and self-management abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
This role is designed as On Site. Selected candidate will be working in the office unless they are in the field meeting with customers, suppliers or attending technical events.
The salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range may also be modified in the future.
