that appreciates our Team MembersPaid Time Off (“PTO”) and paid holidaysProfit SharingPaid Parental and Uniformed Services leaveWhat You’ll Be Doing:Provide technical engineering support for business developers and interface with customers to determine feasibility and preferred design for projects.Manage or assist with completing ESR’s (Engineering Service Requests) for development projects.Manage or assist with requests for qualifications, proposals, and the contract administration that follows.Provide strong technical support to business developers and others as needed to define and develop Scope of Work and Basis of Design for both development and capital projects.Manage engineering contractors in the creation of processes and layouts for development projects.Perform technical and procurement research.Work with equipment vendors, engineering and construction contractors to obtain project pricing.Travel to project sites as needed to gather essential information.Work towards creative solutions for customer challenges.Ensure designs meet applicable codes, safety, operational, and commercial objectives.Identify and assist in obtaining applicable permits.Provide technical support for internal operations.Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.As directed, assist with the execution of Capital Projects.What You Need to Be Successful:Experience with the development of capital budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures.Ability to work in design/build environments.Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiating experience.Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.Willingness to participate in an employee-based safety program and contribute to a rich safety culture.BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience required.Minimum 5+ years of significant project/project management experience ($500K+).Familiarity with processes and operational practices of heavy industries such as rail, transportation, power, mining, refineries, mineral processing, marine, etc.Experience with project management software preferred (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Oracle, etc.).Physical/Travel Requirements:Frequent site visits to industrial facilities, which require walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and other similar activities.Travel is anticipated to average between
15-30% , but can be over
40%
