Here, you will make an impact by:Driving new product evaluations at semiconductor customers to win business through data-driven interactions and developing customer-specific applications and data packages demonstrating 3M product performance.Coordinating the generation of data packages and technical presentations for semiconductor customers.Partnering with the sales team to develop Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) processes for customer device manufacturing, demonstrating the value of 3M solutions to gain new business or prevent the loss of existing business.Leading technical interactions to discover semiconductor customers’ requirements in performance and timing. Understanding the market and bringing the voice of the customer to 3M’s technology and marketing organizations to drive product enhancement through Continuous Improvement Plans (CIP) and new product development.Establishing strong relationships with customers and throughout the semiconductor industry; developing a broad and deep understanding of customer and market needs for CMP materials to help successfully launch new products.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.One (1) year of experience in one of more of the following areas: gathering material process data, computer-aided design, product information, or material property information in a private, public, government, or military environment.Two (2) years of combined engineering and/or academic research experience in semiconductor fabrication and/or electronic devices in a private, public, government, or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Three (3) years’ hands-on experience running CMP processes at a semiconductor manufacturing facility or as a consumables or tool supplier in CMP area.Strong project management skills.Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.Work location:Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel:
