Tableau Developer

A Senior BI / Tableau Developer with strong analytical skills. This individual will be responsible for the design and development of analytics and reporting on a Business Data Mart. The successful candidate will have Tableau development, Tableau Server experience and SQL writing experience.Primary Tasks:Design, develop, optimize, test, and support complex and interactive Tableau Dashboard reportsRecommend Dashboards per Tableau visualization featuresDraw upon the full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement reporting capabilities and create advanced BI visualizationsExperience with Tableau securityExperience in Tableau architecture, publishing to Tableau Server, integration of published workbooks into iFrames.Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues within reportsAbility to analyze and dissect user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specificationsUnderstanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practicesSQL development background with experience in data mart / data warehouse environments, SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queriesExpertise in Data AnalyticsData modeling experience desired; preferred to have good understanding of star schemasSAS would be preferredQualifications:5+ years of experience within design and development on BI reporting and analytics3+ years of experience using Tableau Desktop and ServerExcellent communication and collaboration skills in a corporate environmentExcellent experience with connecting to multiple data sources in Tableau (Oracle, MS Access, Netezza, Excel, etc.)Strong knowledge of best practices around Dashboards and Report VisualizationStrong knowledge of best practices around Self-Service BIExperience creating BI training materials a plusExperience with mortgage industry data a plusBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or qualified BI experienceAdditional Information
