Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.What You Will Do:The Surveillance Radar Program (SRP) is looking for an experienced Associate Director to serve as the Sustainment Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to plan and execute the sustainment strategy of the fielded system, including on-site support staff, transportation of sustainment resources, field maintenance support, material procurement, return & repair, and technical assistance.As the SRP Sustainment IPT Lead, you’ll work closely with the Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Global Mobility, EXIM, IPT Leadership, and Program Management teams to apply disciplined program management processes and utilize tools to establish and monitor metrics and trends to ensure excellence in execution.The SRP Radar is an advanced mobile system based in Taiwan and is currently undergoing a substantial technical refresh in addition to maintaining the current hardware. In the IPT Lead role, you will balance cost and schedule while delivering a product that is compliant with the contract. This involves developing solutions that are the best fit for the overall program performance, reliability, maintainability, supportability, and long-term sustainment.Additional responsibilities will include:Oversight of sustainment activities across all functional groups.Ensuring cost and schedule for on-time delivery for sparing, return and repair, test parts, etc. to meet the Radar mission, contractual obligations, and customer expectations.Frequent interaction with the customer community, the program office, functional and technical leaders, and setting an effective communication cadence.Driving adherence to the established program plans and schedules, accurately measuring and reporting on progress, identifying potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensuring the delivery of contractual commitments.Early identification of risks and opportunities, along with mitigation and capture plans.Leading efforts to support customer Meeting and Data Delivery cadence.Partnering with the chief engineer and technical leads to provide the most cost-effective technical solutions.Attending regular customer briefings and ensuring a positive customer relationship.Supporting strategic efforts to identify and advocate for future sustainment needs and best practices to improve our system reliability, maintainability, and supportability.Regular review of program status including tracking and review by both Engineering and Program Leadership.Responsibility for proposal efforts, negotiations, and reviews for any new scope and any potential contract modifications to ensure success and growth for the business.This position is ONSITE based at the Raytheon facility in Woburn, MA.Domestic and International Travel Required.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically Requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of relevant Engineering, Program or Project management experience. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position.Experience managing project or program cost, schedule, and risk or experience with Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunity, IMS or IMP tools.Experience with proposal or capture efforts.Experience presenting program and technical issues to stakeholders.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience leading cross-functional teams including members from Engineering, Operations, Global Supply Chain, and/or Quality through hardware development, production, and test including system test.Experience in Sustainment and lifecycle engineering disciplines.Experience executing DoD sustainment and/or product support activities.Experience with radar and/or sensor systems, or other advanced electronic system/s.Experience with US Air Force / DoD Radar Programs.Demonstrated consistency, accountability, and flexibility managing multiple and competing priorities.Ability to manage diverse tasks, requirements, and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines.Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to meet contractual requirements.Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
