TalEx is partnering with a consulting firm to identify several Senior .NET Developers. These are contract-to-hire roles located in Crystal City, VA (Arlington).
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency with, or quickly learn the client’s existing solution architecture, design, coding, and debugging. The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to develop a solution by mapping a customer’s business problem to an end-to-end technology solution.
The role requires a technically strong Consultant who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in troubleshooting solutions in a large-scale environment. The individual will diagnose and correct performance problems in conjunction with tiered help desk support.
Responsibilities:
Focus on a mix of server-side development for a combination of new builds as well as legacy applications client support.Perform server-side development using C#, ASP.Net (Windows Forms) within MVC, nHibernate frameworks.Utilize JavaScript, JQuery libraries (and/or any related combination of Dojo, ExtJS, and/or AngularJS, etc.).Utilize WCF-type builds for web services.Utilize SQL Server and/or Oracle Server backend experience and strong understanding of stored procedures.Participate in requirements definition to ensure the development team has all necessary information.Participate as a project team member for functional application areas and help provide input on planning.Support multiple project/client needs as needed to stay aware of team needs, upcoming schedules, long-term support, and new build processes in support of our federal, state government, and commercial clients.
Preferred Skills:
Must have a minimum of 10 years of Web Development experience.Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering; or comparable work experience.Must have a minimum of 4 years ASP.NET C# MVC based web development experience using Visual Studio 2008 or higher.Experience with Agile development methodologies.
