We offer products and services which extend along the entire Rail Electrification value chain to improve the quality of everyday life for millions of people worldwide.Position Overview:As an EHS leader, you will drive environmental, health, and safety initiatives within our organization, emphasizing accountability, commitment, and teamwork. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and actively engaging employees at all levels. In this role you will be primarily based out of Marion, KY and supporting the Marion, Louisville, and Pittsburgh facilities, promoting safety and environmental protection. Join our team today and contribute to a safer, healthier workplace!What your day-to-day will look like:Embody a safety mindset and advance the safety culture ensuring compliance with all regulations for employees, vendors, and customers.Evaluate current state EHS practices and develop action plans to drive improvements.Develop an open environment as the go-to technical expert for EHS questions and concerns.Create and revise Procedures aligned with corporate strategies and ISO certification.Implement training and coaching for office and factory employees.Lead in the prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses using learning teams and human and organizational performance (HOP) techniques.Confirm and maintain an ‘audit-ready’ state of compliance applicable to external regulatory requirements.Collaborate cross-functionally to drive culture and initiatives throughout the organization.Focus on ergonomics in both manufacturing and office environments.Evaluate processes and materials for environmental compliance.To thrive in this role, you have:Professional certification such as OHST, ASP, CSP, etc., or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months.BS/BA in a related field.5+ years of experience in a technical EHS role.Prior experience with 14001/45001 management and implementation of continuous improvements.Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations, industry EHS standards, and a record of implementation of programs for compliance.Demonstrated ability to recognize, evaluate, and recommend controls for workplace hazards.Prior experience working on cross-functional teams planning and leading fiscal year EHS targets and objectives.Reporting on EHS objectives and KPIs monthly.Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).Proficiency with incident reporting and Environmental system.Travel (~40%) to other RI locations for best practice sharing and collaboration.Preferred criteria:Proficient in using digital tools such as Power Bi, Tableau, SharePoint, Apps, dashboards, and other tools for EHS data transparency.Experience applying Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) methodology.Why you'll love working for Siemens!11 paid holidays, 18 days of PTO.401K - 6% company match.Freedom and healthy work-life balance– Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, HSA/FSA, Commuter Benefits – starting Day 1!We believe that each member of our team is accountable for making decisions, solving problems, and taking actions that contribute to long-term impact and financial success.We do the right thing. . The base salary range for this position in Marion, KY is $97,300 – $114,500. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications. The annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
