As a Power BI Report Developer, you’ll be a self-starter with a passion for data, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and maintain them in alignment with department governance standards. Your work will drive efficiencies and support key business decision-making through data-driven automation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate deep expertise in data, data models, database structures, and data behavior to design impactful reporting solutions.
Operate autonomously, making informed decisions with limited oversight.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and assess requirements, then design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain sustainable reporting solutions.
Create engaging and informative dashboards and reports using Power BI, applying appropriate chart types and visualizations to clearly convey insights.
Identify and resolve performance issues in reports and dashboards by optimizing data queries, models, and refresh rates.
Adhere to team methodologies, processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
Contribute to our clients initiative by delivering innovative solutions across various technologies, recommending the best-fit tools for each project.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong background in SQL.
Expertise in Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power Platform, SAS Enterprise Guide, and other BI tools to create actionable business insights.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps), and SharePoint is preferred.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse project teams.
Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and design capabilities.
Data modeling experience and Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and/or Collibra is an advantage.
