Following the recent merger with Columbia Bank, we have grown to become a leading western-based regional bank with more than $50B in assets under management.We create a great place to work by offering a special brand of relationship banking and by providing a culture where associates thrive.About the Role:Administer and/or engineer server solutions or applications in support of Umpqua Bank initiatives.Provide high-level customer service to bank associates.Assist or advise other TAG teams on technical issues.Prepare system solution designs, implement & maintain complex enterprise-class systems and applications.Analyze the performance of infrastructure to assist with capacity planning in both public (Microsoft Azure) and private cloud environments.Participate in vulnerability remediation on infrastructure components and Disaster Recovery planning/participation.Implement Infrastructure As Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep or ARM.Measure and improve the performance, uptime, cost, stability, and other operational characteristics of our cloud-based systems.Write runbooks and rehearse scenarios for efficient incident response.Research, analyze, recommend, and implement solutions within their scope and enhancements.Share rotation of on-call duties after hours and weekends.Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function.Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding applicable regulations.May coach, mentor, or train others.Actively learn and foster the Umpqua corporate culture.May perform other duties as assigned.About You:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.4-7 years’ experience in system or network engineering.Strong coordination, organization, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.Proven experience with building and maintaining cloud systems and infrastructure.Familiarity with Git and understanding of version control.Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.Experience with troubleshooting principles and methodologies.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools to provision and manage complex systems.Experience with major cloud providers like Azure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Very strong customer service orientation.MCP/MCSA/MCSE certification is a plus.Workstyle:
Fully onsite.We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits.
