The Senior Architect plans and develops architectural projects of all sizes, scope, and works under minimal supervision with the ability to navigate unique and/or controversial complexities. This role provides full support through the entirety of a project, acting as the SME on specialized systems to explore the subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel architectural concepts and methods to support each project. The Senior Architect leads and coordinates all technical solutions, product strategies, and documentation associated with the project submittal review and site observations during bidding and construction administration.

This position requires a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant and related project experience. Due to growth, we are looking to add a Senior Architect to the team with a focus on team leadership and major project execution. We are looking for an individual that is naturally curious to always better themselves and the firm, has strong research skills, an ability to think critically through problems, has great communication, high emotional intelligence, strong project management, and leadership abilities. In this role, you will:Use your NAAB Accredited degree and professional Architectural License to plan and develop projects of medium to large scope under minimal supervision.Use your 15+ years of experience and background and expertise in construction materials, building and energy code, and deep industry knowledge to plan and develop architectural projects concerning unique and/or controversial complexities that significantly impact major company programs.Utilize your LEED, LFA and/or Well certifications and knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Specification writing to provide the best concept, design, and delivery strategies for our clients.As a people developer, oversee and mentor a staff of Architects and Designers by interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments while effectively meeting deadlines with accuracy and quality.As a natural collaborator, lead and coordinate the documents and clarification efforts as well as submittal review and site observations during bidding and construction administration.As a project manager, proactively mitigate risk and unnecessary complexity in design concepts and detailing. Create, audit, and understand cost estimates internally and from construction partners with a deep understanding of industry standard processes.As a leader, manage and coordinate the team and their progress on projects, create and conduct presentations to the team and clients and step in to run team meetings in the absence of the Principal in Charge.What You’ll Get
