The

Project Architect

takes ownership of planning and developing architectural projects varying in size and scope, working with the Director of Design to navigate unique and/or controversial complexities that significantly impact major company programs. This role explores and presents proposals internally for the subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel architecture concepts and methods to support each individual project. The Project Architect leads and coordinates all documentation associated with assigned project submittal review and site observations during bidding and construction administration.This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant and related project experience. Architectural licensure is required for this position.What You’ll Do

We are looking to add a talented Project Architect with at least ten years of experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who has specific project-related experience navigating unique complexities and loves focusing on design and technical excellence, team leadership, and high-quality project execution at a variety of scales. This individual is naturally curious, strives to always better themselves and the firm, researches, and benchmarks best practices to cultivate creative designs at Pure Architects. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, be a visionary, proactively mitigate project risks, and coordinate Pure’s architectural programming efforts to effectively guide our team of designers and project partners through schematic design, design development, and overseeing the submission of construction documents to produce high performing design outcomes for our clients. In this role, you will:Continue to ignite your passion for design by leading the project team from kick off to completion in a variety of design projects varying in complexity. You will act as a servant and inclusive leader by collaborating with architects, designers, engineers, and technicians to make achieving project objectives and deadlines with innovation and accuracy both rewarding and fun!Use your professional architecture experiences, knowledge of environmental design, and NAAB Accredited degree and professional license to intentionally apply building codes, energy codes, construction methods and sequencing, and various building materials to create high-quality design standards and smart build outcomes that deliver low-impact, adaptable, and healthy spaces.Lean into your ability to build trust with others. You will use your high emotional intelligence and presentation skills to uphold and implement Pure’s standards for designing narratives, developing proposals, bidding, and submitting construction documentation with strong attention to detail and the ability to set the right expectations and priorities for activities throughout each project with remarkable precision. At the same time, you will collaborate to present solutions to our clients and industry partners that excite, uplift, and inspire all those involved!Apply your enthusiasm for sustainability and fascination and knowledge of cost estimates and professional fee structures to establish project allocation numbers, review data, and identify trends to formulate a sustainable cost management strategy that supports the complexity of each design project, bringing designs to fruition.Collaborate with and support our Director of Design to navigate controversial complexities, present proposals internally for the subject area, create the definitions of scope, manage the selection of items for investigation, and develop novel architecture concepts and methods to support each individual project. You’ll help execute projects across the organization and the region. You will lead meetings and events, including facilitating project strategy activities, and collaborative project planning meetings.
