Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?ResponsibilitiesManages third-party recordkeepers and other vendors to promote effective benefits delivery, including implementing plan design changes, resolving operational issues, monitoring reporting, SLAs, and scorecard evaluations, and taking a lead role in RFPs.Manages annual budgeting for administrative services and budgeting and funding of benefits plans and programs, including payment approvals and governance.Leads, develops and implements effective communication strategies that drive engagement and educate employees about company benefits programs.Evaluates plan design and administrative processes, taking into account benchmarking, union proposals, legal and regulatory developments, and cost considerations, and recommends changes to plan design and administration that align with company objectives.Ensures benefit plans, programs and policies remain in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; remains abreast of legal and regulatory developments and industry best practices.Manages team of employees to deliver strong performance; establish performance expectations; train and develop team by providing timely recognition, feedback, coaching, and support; assist with problem solving and guidance; allocate resources effectively to equitably distribute the workload while also identifying appropriate skill levels and talents; support a safe work environment.A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.Minimum QualificationsFive or more years managing/supervising an organization/unit or possesses five or more years project management experience.Ten or more years experience in the employee benefits field with demonstrated progressive responsibility administering or otherwise supporting benefit plans, programs, and policies.Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience with health and welfare plan administration.Additional InformationThis position’s work mode is
hybrid.
The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
