The Supply Chain Application Engineer will share the responsibility for design, implementation, and support of business solutions for the Copeland Supply Chain and Logistics groups. The Application Engineer utilizes expertise in software development including ASP.Net to provide assistance in the ongoing implementation, enhancement and support of critical Supply Chain Applications. The person will also share responsibly for the development and implementation of our Analytics solutions within the Supply Chain group.Roles and Responsibilities:Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, enhancements, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting) for the Supply Chain applications.Works collaboratively with Enterprise Logistics and Supply Chain IT Program/Project Managers to understand program requirements and assist with the evaluation of alternative solutions.Assist with program rollout activities, including project coordination, status reporting and communication to program management.Works closely with 3rd party technical resources to gather requirements optimize technical solutions as well as guarantee successful knowledge transfer to internal Technical Team members.Proactively monitors processes to identify trends; analyzes/predicts trends and develops a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring to ensure high service levels.Ensures SCO system documentation is complete and maintained.Works effectively in a global highly matrixed team environment.Required Skills & Experience:Good knowledge of ASP.Net, MVC, and/or C#Ability to develop UI based applications using a variety of methods including ASP, HTML5 & CSS, JavaScript, or Python.Good knowledge of Databases and SQL. Must be able to understand and write complex queries and stored procedures.Good knowledge on Azure Cloud PlatformHands on experience with triage of day-to-day systems issues and providing resolution on complex issues.Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with presenting to diverse technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.Ability to multi-task and work within diverse multi-disciplinary global project teams.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.Comfortable with performing detailed data analysis to identify opportunities and gain higher level insight.Proactively maintain technical knowledge applicable to the SCO applications.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.Preferred Skills:Knowledge on 3rd party UI frameworks like KendoUI (Telerik)Knowledge or understanding of Supply chain applicationsKnowledge of Logistics management principles and processes.Understanding of Azure DevOpsBenefitsCopeland places a high value on ensuring that employees have a good work-life balance.
