Data Analyst,
you will work closely with cross-functional partners to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and support strategic decision making.If you have a passion for data, an eye for detail, and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights, we would love to have you join our team.How You Will Make an ImpactAnalyzes large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform business decisions.Provides actionable insights that drive customer service, claims management, customer segmentation, and other key insurance functions.Designs and executes rigorous studies to measure the causal impact of business initiatives on key metrics, such as loss ratios, bind ratio and customer acquisition costsLeverages geospatial data and analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, market trends, and geographical areas for expansion and risk assessment.Utilizes optimization techniques to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Works closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business leaders, to understand data needs and provide analytical support.Communicates complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.Presents findings and recommendations to senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.Utilizes statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning to analyze data and solve complex business problems.Collaborates with data engineers to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analysis.What You Will DoMasters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
Or Bachelors Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field and 2 years experience in data analysisOr 4 years experience in data analysis
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and creating interactive dashboards.Familiarity with insurance industry data sources, including policy, claims, and customer data.Deep understanding of insurance industry concepts, including underwriting, claims, pricing, and risk assessment.Experience working with pricing models, or other insurance-specific analytical tools is a plus.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear, actionable insights.Ability to identify and solve business problems using data-driven approaches.Experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning techniques is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and in a team environment with internal /external customersStrong organizational, planning & problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate with stakeholders and business partnersAbility to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processesPreferredProven experience in analyzing complex data sets and delivering actionable insights that drive business value.Data Analytics experience in the insurance industryWork AuthorizationCentral will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
