This position will be located in the Colorado Springs, CO, area.Position Overview:The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.This role will support the Security Administration of the Development & Integration (DI) and System Infrastructure (SI) lab environments.Essential Functions:Troubleshooting Cyber-related issues; Interfacing with LM ISSO/DSS Rep.Maintain up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices.Updating Dat files, GPOS, and ACAS plugins; Reviewing Security Logs.Monitoring the system (e.g., User accounts, User activity, Software installations, System changes) for ArcSight, TFA, and HBSS.Scanning systems/networks and reviewing scan data.Installing new IA releases and updating software/firmware on servers and workstations.Assisting with Auditing and accrediting of new systems.Developing software policy updates.Assist with installing and configuring Linux and Windows HW platforms from the OS to the applications.Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps.Collaborating with developers and/or vendors to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems while maintaining servers and workstations.Submit problem reports for errors discovered to the Program Lab Change Control Board (CCB).Basic Qualifications:An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.3 years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years experience in lieu of a degree.Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)Windows administrator tasks related to Windows workstation platforms are required.User experience administrating Cyber SIEM, Multi-factor, or Host-based technologies (e.g., ArcSight, Splunk, TFA, HBSS) is required.Administrator experience installing, testing, and configuring vulnerability fixes for Windows and Unix/Linux platforms is required.Working knowledge of Information Assurance policies and procedures as they apply to lab management is required.Basic network knowledge is required, including routers, switches, and firewalls.Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts, issues, and status is necessary.Preferred Qualifications:RHEL administrator tasks related to Unix/Linux server platforms are preferred.VMWare systems administration and configuration is desired.Hands-on experience with Python and Powershell scripting is desired.Occasional travel to HSV may be necessary.What We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
