We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. The Production Manager at Connect Housing Blocks is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role includes managing production schedules, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards.What we can offer YOU:Health insurance Paid time off401kGrowth opportunities Pay: Starting at $80,000/year, offer dependent on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM In officeThe right candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environmentAbility to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in EnglishAbility to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situationsOur Production Manager will:Plan, organize, and direct production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targetsSupervise, train, and evaluate production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standardsDevelop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtimeMonitor production processes and adjust optimize workflow and reduce wasteCollaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operationalEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspectionsCoordinate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to meet production goalsPrepare and present production reports to upper management, analyzing performance and recommending improvementsImplement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product qualityManage production inventory, ensuring materials are available to meet production needsInterested in becoming our Production Manager?
