Job DescriptionSummary The Quality Manager manages all aspects of the QA Process with the PTFE Group in US (ISO 9001:2008 certificate), enhance the manufacturing efficiency rate and effectiveness. Develop and implement a quality culture within the manufacturing operations from a tribal knowledge culture to one which is focused and data centric. Implement continuous improvement culture driven by the principles of both Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Standards.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Establish performance standards, procedures and audit controls in order to meet business requirements Ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation and customer specifications Manage the development and implementation of effective manufacturing process control techniques, resulting in a measurable, cost effective and consistent manufacturing process Ensure that manufacturing processes and procedures are documented, tested and adhered to by all personnel Develop and manage KPI's which allow the executive management team to measure the performance of the manufacturing operations and develop a continuous improvement culture Lead all New Product Development initiatives, work closely with Sales team and Production leaders Work with Production and IT to ensure all Bill of Materials, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Assurance In Process Procedures and all Quality Laboratory Testing Processes are documented in the companies' MRP / ERP system Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop Advertising Materials, and Promotional Documents outlining products features Monitor the industry innovations to bring in opportunities and ideas for New Products relative to future growth Work closely with Operations to investigate and solve problems regarding defects, on-time delivery, and supply Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders Provide recommendations that enhance performance, business opportunities, and continuous improvements Key stakeholders: Head of PTFE, Production Manager, Operational Excellence Manager, Head of Sales and Customer Service Ensure alignment with global QA and RD strategy to build high performing organization Building quality systems that support and or maintain ISO 9001:2008 certificate Functional and efficient at problem solving tools 8D, 5Ys, fish bone diagrams A 3s, fast response & RCA completion Knowledgeable and capable of establishing D FEMA and P FEMA Complete any additional special assignments as assigned Knowledge and Skill Requirements: University/College degree - preferably in engineering Minimum 10 years' management experience in manufacturing/quality Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Lean Manufacturing Proven experience with quality inspection, auditing and testing Mastering concepts, methodologies, regulatory requirements of QA Ability to create, review and maintain metrics and quality audits Strong computer skills, produce and interpret reports, documents and presentations Must be able to work in the US Competencies Basic knowledge of reliability, maintainability and risk management, including memos, quality reports, technical documents and evaluations. Technical aptitude Strong and rational problem solving and decision-making skills.
