Job Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of hotelManage staff to ensure exceptional guest service in every interactionLead staff to meet and exceed expectations of guests through genuine and attentive serviceAbility to lead in a hands-on approach, communicating with all staff in a respectful and motivational mannerSet leadership example by interacting directly with guests and staff to communicate the hotel vision of an excellent property functioning effectivelyOperate and oversee budgeting and financial performanceManage Food & Beverage operationsMake recommendations for corrections and improvements of facility and equipment as neededEnsure compliance with all regulatory standardsComplete staff scheduling, allowing for appropriate service levels while controlling labor costs and overtimeConduct performance evaluations and help develop team membersPerform other duties as assignedRequirements

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentBachelor's (or Associate's) Degree in business, hospitality management (or related field), or commensurate experience in the hospitality industry required3+ years of experience in a hotel GM or AGM roleBackground in hospitality food & beverage preferredMust have or be able to quickly obtain a Food Handler's CardExceptional customer service skillsKnowledge of hospitality budgeting and financial managementStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasksAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentAbility to pass a background checkBenefits
