Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our Birthdays Sales Team and sell group events. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences for group events and birthday celebrations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities: -Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for group events and birthday celebrations. Identify target markets, industry trends, and customer needs to capitalize on sales opportunities. Lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals. -Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to enhance sales skills and productivity. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement. -Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and event hosts Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients. -Event Coordination and Planning: Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations and marketing, to coordinate and execute successful group events and birthday celebrations. Ensure seamless event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics management. Oversee post-event follow-up to gather feedback and secure repeat business. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, such as monthly bookings, revenue targets, and upsell goals. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
Qualifications: Proven experience in sales with a track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams. Strong understanding of group events, birthday celebrations, and the hospitality industry. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
