About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Area
Sales Manager
to oversee the sales and business development for our duo-hotel property Toll House Hotel and Tiburon Lodge. As part of a growing brand, this position will drive revenue, enhance market presence, and foster relationships with key corporate clients, travel agents, and local businesses to optimize sales performance for both properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospitality market, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets within a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to drive occupancy, room revenue, and meeting and event bookings for both hotels. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine sales tactics and identify growth opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key corporate accounts, event planners, and travel agents. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, revenue management) to tailor offerings to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Sales Performance Monitoring: Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for both hotels, ensuring they meet or exceed revenue targets. Provide regular sales performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and action plans.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a regional sales team to ensure alignment with sales targets and business objectives. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills in sales techniques, customer relationship building, and product knowledge.
Brand Promotion: Represent both hotel properties at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and market share. Promote both hotels' unique offerings to attract new clients and maintain long-term business partnerships.
Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the hotel operations teams to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded. Provide feedback to operations regarding customer preferences, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality industry (minimum of 3-5 years). Experience managing multiple properties or working within a duo-hotel environment is a plus. Strong understanding of hotel sales processes, revenue management, and market analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that result in measurable revenue growth. Leadership skills with a track record of motivating and managing a sales team. Proficiency in hotel sales software and CRM tools (e.g., Opera, Salesforce). Compensation:
Exempt- $75,000/hr to $95,000/ hr DOE
