Landmark Hospital of Joplin has an opportunity for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated and professional team! This is a PRN position and would be able to work both the Acute Rehab Unit and the LTACH. Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.
Summary:
A Physical Therapist (PT)is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, treatment and evaluation of physical therapy for patients.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of specific conditions, diseases, and treatment therapies for specific patient populationsAssesses patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs to determine level and type of care.Develops and maintains current patient treatment plan to include patient problems, goals, and interventions.Delivers care based on acuity level, identified needs, and physician orders.Coordinates physical therapy care activities with other departments/disciplines.Assesses, collaborates, and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.Assesses patient/family learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn and integrates needs into plan of care.Provides appropriate education/orientation to patients/families.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or post Graduate degree (PT)
Active Physical Therapist (PT) License in the state of MissouriBLS Certification
Minimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care/acute care preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsSuperior analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.Team, detail and goal orientedPositive, professional and empathetic demeanorAbout us:
